Our Story

After nearly 20 years in the financial services industry, we grew frustrated by the constraints and red tape of being employees of large banks. In 2012, we sought to create our own boutique advisory firm based on the principles of independence, transparency and client advocacy. We unapologetically embody an anti-corporate culture. Located in the heart of South Beach, we personify our surroundings: laid-back, easy-going, and approachable. Our office feels more like a Silicon Valley start-up loft with high ceilings, industrial lighting and collaborative whiteboard walls than a stodgy old Wall Street private bank. We are extremely professional; yet display a unique family-oriented environment that is comfortable and familiar for all clientele. We embrace new technology to enhance the client experience.

We provide comprehensive financial planning, overall wealth management, and strategic investment advice to high net worth individuals, entrepreneurs, and families who seek unbiased, intelligent advice and counsel. We are responsible for the crafting of customized investment solutions and for advising clients regarding matters related to investment policy, asset allocation, cash flow analysis, product selection, and performance analytics. Our practice is reserved to an exclusive group of uniquely successful clients, allowing us the time needed to carefully customize our services and solutions.

Managing Partner

Michael Rose is the Founder and Managing Partner of Rose Capital Advisors, and has been providing strategic investment advice and wealth management services for over 27 years. He started the firm to create a culture unlike the typical financial advisor tradition. Michael prioritizes core values above all: a collaborative team-based approach, a client-first focus, and a commitment to a work / life balance, including taking part in high-impact community projects that benefit both the people around him and the clients he serves.

By separating our advice from where products are sourced and where assets are safely held (custody), we avoid many of the conflicts inherent in traditional bank wealth management models. At large brokerage firms and banks, these are traditionally linked and clients are given advice, buy products/services, and hold their assets all at the same financial institution. By completely unlinking these in a way most others don’t, we embrace a more client-focused, conflict-free model.

The separation of custody creates an additional level of protection for clients. We have the flexibility to work with one or multiple top tier custodians such as Pershing/Bank of New York, Fidelity, and JP Morgan to hold all client assets in safe keeping. We have no affiliation or commitment to these firms; instead, we believe that they are the best firms for the job, and best meet our clients’ needs.
